In the region of Kastela there is a big number of organizations and institutions that make with their activities Kastela's cultural life richer.Majority of those activities are held through the Cultural Summer Kastela.Every year in the period from 01.Juli till 31. August more than 60 manifestations are held –picture exhibitions, theatre perfomances,concerts,folklore,sport's competitions and festivities (fishing, hunting and hiking). We would like to point out, expecially, manifestations that preserve a traditional Kastela's soul.; nights of the Dalmatians's songs which are held in Kastel Kambelovac and which promote dalmatian gang songs in traditional and modern arrangements. « Broad beans festivity» a manifestation which maintains a traditional gastronomical heritage of Kastela. At the festivity can take part everybody who wants to prepare some dishes with broad-beans and in this way they can show their creations and some forgotten recipes from this traditional Kastela's leguminous plants.Days of the Kastela's wines, a festivity where Kastela's wines are being valued and tasted; at the festivity take part all of them who are occupied with wine professional and amateur. The festivity is held in order to advance a culture of wine- manufacturing and drinking. Days of young Kastela's oils- a gain of this manifestation is to advance a culture recognition of extra virgin olive oils and to advance intoduction to it's value in the man's nourishment. Kastela's carnival, a manifestation which has been lasting in Kastela for over 150 years. In the region of Kastela there are three carnival's assocations that offer with their progrmas a unique entertainment.
