Through thousands years rich history of the Kastela's vineyards, in Kastela was held a traditional vinemaking of Kastela's wine.The Kastela's vineyard is famous because it is one of the most quality in the Republic of Croatia. There are in Croatia 10 autochthon sorts of grape vine.One of the most famous is «Crljenak Kastelanski» (Zinfandel) that,in the first half of the 19century, set off with the first migrations from Kastela to America..»Crljenak Kastelanski» (Zinfandel) became in America one of the most admired wines and it attracted the whole world. Other sorts of the Kastela's grapes are: white grapes «Vlaška, Mladinka, Maraština», black grapes «Glavinuša, Babica, Ljutun, Plavac mali, Dobričić, Ninćuša, Rogoznička Vlaška, Mladinka, Maraština». Autochthon grape sorts, traditional and ecological way of vineyards' cultivation are guaranty for manufacture of a top and unique raw for our wines and our wine-products. A vision and strategy of the development of the BEDALOV ranch is not only the manufacture of the big quantity and middle quality, but also keeping the top quality.As we observe it in a long- term period, it is not only a right way to survive at more demanding market, croatian and european as well, but also an obligation to a hundred years vineyards' tradition in this area. Within VAGABUNDO appartments and rooms we organise a gustation of the autochthon Kastela's delicacies, such as wines, olive oil and culinary specislities.All delicacies are a product of the BEDALOV family ranch, manufactured in the traditional, ecological way. A capacity of a gustation room is 30 persons.Due to increasing number of people who want to participate in a traditional manufacturing , we offer a possibility of single- or group parcipation in the grape- and olives vintage.
